Vertigo Aventures is a non-profit cooperative run by a board of directors composed of guides and clients. Since 2002, its team has been offering backcountry skiing packages in the Chic-Choc Mountains and is a proud member of Aventure Écotourisme Québec.

EXCLUSIVE SKI AREAS

The company offers packages in two distinct areas, discovered and developed by Vertigo and its partners, available from mid-January to mid-April. The Mont Blanc area, located 450 km from Quebec City in the heart of the Matane Wildlife Reserve, and the Mont Paul area, 100 km further east in the Gaspésie National Park, are undoubtedly among the best backcountry skiing destinations in Eastern Canada. Pristine powder snow is our hallmark, along with the exclusive atmosphere of a 3- to 5-day guided stay in a private yurt for your group of friends. These exclusive paradises, reserved for Vertigo Aventures clients, offer countless descents ranging from 300 to 500 meters of vertical drop, as well as stunning mountain landscapes for alpine touring enthusiasts.

Our services include snowmobile access (1 to 2 hours), accommodation in a yurt or prospecting tent, and the indispensable presence of a guide certified in avalanche terrain safety.

YOUR GROUP – YOUR YURT

Create your group of 4 to 8 people. Vertigo respects group composition and does not mix clients. This ensures you enjoy an experience at your own pace, with days tailored to your skill level. There’s no need to wait for an unfamiliar client, or feel pressured by a stronger group. Form your group and embark on the Vertigo adventure.
